Out of the existing 8000 airports around the world, just a small group counts on cargo handling facilities and very few on project cargo handling facilities and managerial expertise. South America turns out not to be the exception to the rule, this being the reason why Southmark has developed a number of regional suppliers that are capable of turning a regular cargo terminal or even a typical inland passenger air station into an efficient project cargo station for every specific project. Either regular air cargo contracting and handling or project-oriented operations fall within the company´s expertise and a rather wide variety of segments, these being automotive industry, foodstuff industry, chemical industry, onshore and offshore oil and gas, mining, renewable energies, and infrastructure.
